Re: Nvidia control panel and NVDA

the thing I do is that I use the narrator object nav to get NVDA in to focus, then find the setting I want to change, then use some more narrator object nav and let NVDA do the rest. I would love this app to be more accessible!

Re: Nvidia control panel and NVDA

So, are the devs lazy and not wanting to make is accessible or can they really not? I’m using laptop mode for NVDA if @2 could make a recording of how to use object nav in laptop mode that would be grate.

Re: Nvidia control panel and NVDA

hello.the NVIDIA control panel. is not inaccessible as in, you wouldn't be able to use it's options without some OCR work. but it's inaccessible mostly because you can't use the usual keys to find the options.the way I use it is by navigator object, insert plus numpad 2, 8, 4, 6.when you open the NVIDIA control panel, you have on you're navigator object, a window, and an unknown that is the objects you can press insert 2 to find there options. you can, in fact, locate and use the tree view, it's under the unknown object, but by using insert slash on the options and pressing slash for left mouse button.I may be able to record how it works later on today if you would like.it is, unnecessarily complicated though.

Nvidia control panel and NVDA

Hi,I recently emailed the Nvidia team to see if they could make their control panel more workable with NVDA and I was wondering how others that use NVDA navigate it. I got a reply from them saying"Thanks for explaining.  The developer of the NVDA software you are using would need to perform any sort of changes to the software to get it to work.  I'm unaware of any other similar issues with any other software so it's difficult to comment on what the problem might be.One thing that might be worth a look is to seek out forums of other people using the same software and see if others have discovered any workarounds or are able to share more details.I'll pass along your feedback.  Sorry I can't be more help".is it just the devs being lazy or can they really not fix their app?
