Hey guys, I recently got a new computer better setup for high load games, and I wanted to replay this demo as I fell in love with it on my last computer about a year ago, and I especially enjoyed the use of my game controller, using a bluetooth Xbox controller, however now when I run the game it doesn't recognize my Xbox controller, I've checked everything, it works with all my other games so far I'm not sure why planet saga is refusing to connect with it and it takes the consol feel away which I seriously enjoyed, does anyone know a solution to this or had similar issues? I've checked under game controller settings in windows settings, I'm running windows 10 on an asus computer, I use joi to key but I want the feedback support if possible. Seriously hope this game releases one day soon, I'm remembering my adiction and why I had to stop even with the demo! Re: Planet Saga, public demo released. i've already said that, don't know if you can expand your inventory with additional slots, but i think that is a good idea, trying to find inv slots.lots of games do that. resident evil, odin sphere, dbz budokai 3.. but these are equippment slots, not inventory.if you find a really good item and can't pick it up, just drop something. an erb, for example. and that's where strategy is important. don't take too many items with you, and always keep track of how many slots do you have.for example: in the second dungeon, you can put your simple pick on your inventory, if you want the stones, but you need to take into consideration that you'll need three free slots. one for the pick, and two slots for the stones.anyway, i noticed that in this demo the dungeons are not a problem regarding your inventory, on the other hand, the world map is full of items you can pick up, so at the moment, the only place you need to have a relatively light inventory is the world map. Re: Planet Saga, public demo released. bringing this back, i watched the trailers again and i have some questions about the inventory. don't know if @assault can answer them, but here i go.about the inventory... it seems that items are now categorized, right?now that weapons can't be equipped in the left and right hands, is there a way to quickly go to the weapons menu?the inventory is still limited, right? one of the things i loved about the demo, and that i think would be great in the full game is the limited inventory.the good thing about having a limited inventory is that it's great for strategic play.with an infinite inventory, you can carry all of your weapons and items with you, but in this case, you have to think what do you want to take with you when going to a dungeon. in the demo the dungeons are short, and generally your sword and the bow are enough. but i was thinking. when playing for the first time, in the second dungeon, the bronce sword is great for that particular stage of the game, but it will have enough endurance for the boss? so, you need to take another weapon with you. the bow at least, to my knowledge, is not very effective for dealing with bats. what then? the wooden sword? another bronce sword just in case? but it's 200 gc...but if i have too many items with me and i find an important item or several crafting materials in the dungeon... those were some examples, but for me, it's great!don't know if you can expand inventory slots but... well, i'll stop here for now. Look at resident evil 3 remake. it is a good game indeed, but not the masterpiece people were expecting to be, and now some people come smashing hard at the game.but on topic again, a little suggestion.I think another recording could be great, or maybe a stream. for example, on july 7th, two years later after the demo release, you could stream that last dungeon we have in the demo, showing that slime boss. I think it could be nice, and, considering it is the second boss of the game, you will not reveal too much of the plot and other surprises. Top down for the villages, a sorta first person mode for traveling, side scroler for quests. I hate this game so much though, because it sucks you into a world of intrigue and discovery, crafting fighting and old meets new style game design in sounds and nav, and then just when you are getting to the climax, Bam, sorry, but the game isn't finished beyond this point!Oh My god!!, super frustrating lols, obviously in a good way.My friends and I have gotten addicted to this game, in just the demo form, and I've litterally had to delete my desktop shortcut in the hopes of forgetting about it, as it is far beyond other games of its style in both replayability and overall world building, and I hate playing it now because I want so much more!I am a fan of this style game, and I love the steps that have been taken to make this game much deeper faceted then shadow rine, which was ok but lacked true exploration elements that planet saga brings. The beep are the only thing that require getting used to, however after a while you get used to them and it isn't a big deal, and it seems like an interesting fix for visual games that don't have sounds for objects or places.The damage deterioration rate is a little too accelerated in what I feel should be for certain things, but overall it adds to the idea of realism the game brings as a whole into the rpg navigation and world building that seems to have been done here.I look forward to more world that isn't directly correspondent to a story line, but with the twist of a story line none the less, and the prospect of even more to do then is already shown.The last thing I wanted to say, is that barely any developers consider consol support for they're games, and this one is one of the acceptions, which really makes the game that much better, only requiring a controller and some time to learn!The vibration support is my favorite, I lost my sight during nintindo 64 eara, and never got to playu games with feedback with sight, and I enjoy having the feature without having to map keys in joi to key, which doesn't support vibration feedback. I just wish more audiogames had this ready to go as it would make interacting with them that much more user receptive.Anyway please keep A-chugging, hope to see something soon as either extended demo content or an actual game to perchase or download. But, I don't know if that's a bug or it's something intentional: you can ride on the boss, literally, you can jump on him and stay over him, while he can't attack you as long as you stay like that, then you can aim down and attack the way you want and win the battle very very easy. Shadow Rine has some pretty basic sounds and I love the game not in spite of or because of those sounds. To me, JRPG sound schemes just have a charm that is very much all their own.And yes, I'd agree that just calling something "bad" is probably not the best idea. Saying you don't like it, saying you're not a fan, it doesn't suit you, totally fine. Saying it's bad sounds like a globalized judgment of quality, vs. just an opinion.
