Re: Accessible Mud Client For the iPhone?

Hi.Regarding to Bluetooth keyboards, Ill recommend Apples bluetooth keyboard if you need it for fast typing. If you want a more compact keyboard, Ill recommend Logitechs iPad mini keyboard.Ill highly recommend that you feel the keyboard before you buy, so you dont end up getting a crappy keyboard where the keys are difficult to feel.

Re: Accessible Mud Client For the iPhone?

PocketMUD pro is pretty accessible, although voice over does not read outgoing text automatically.

I prefer MudRammer myself. It automatically reads incoming text and the developer is set on making it the most accessible client out there.want to know more?Head over here

Re: Accessible Mud Client For the iPhone?

Though you may wish to consider a Bluetooth keyboard, I also recommend not involving yourself in PVP on a mobile mud client unless youre very confident with your typing speed on it.

Re: Accessible Mud Client For the iPhone?

yeah. Also given vocalizers tendency to overdo pauses between sentences your best using iOS for PVE stuff. I mud on my iPad with a bluetooth keyboard cover, but its still not fast enough for PVP stuff.

Re: Accessible Mud Client For the iPhone?

Hi Exodus. Thanks so much! I just got mudrammer and it works great. Btw, you mentioned a bluetooth keyboard. I was wondering does it matter what kind I have? I mean could I go into my local wall mart and buy anyone? I use an iPod touch so do I need an adapter or can I just plug it in with my charging cord?Again thanks everyone I really appreciate the help.

Hi Exodus.Ive been using mudrammer and was wondering if there is a way to turn off history so that I dont see all my previous moves because its very distracting.Thanks.

Re: Accessible Mud Client For the iPhone?

Hi guitarman,Bluetooth devices are wirelessly connected, so no adaptor or cable is required.Ive tried playing with MUDRammer, but for the particular MUD I play (Discworld) its hard to keep up with things.I have a wizard character, so in groups, its usually my job to keep people shielded. In MUSHclient I have triggers set up to tell me when the shields change color or break, but theres no way to do this in MUDRammer except for myself. For example, after a while of being hit, the shield will appear as a dull red glow, then bright red, then wobbling orange, then flickering yellow, then the shield will break.Anyway, good luck.
