For anyone having issues with NVDA and lag, it also may be do to how Windows 10 is in general.You may wish to grab either Classic Shell or its updated one called Open Shell , as Classic Shell was last updated in August 2018. Hey guys, I am using leftest version of NVDA in my windows 10 home edition laptop.NVDA very seems laggy and the respond is in fact slow, then the other screen reader like jaws and narrator. well it works fine in web browser but performance is not so satisfying in file explorer and also with microsoft office package. Well first, half my add-ons don't work, for example, Menu's for specific add-ons won't show, and this error keeps coming up saying another dialogue box is already open although I have only 1 instance of NVDA menu running.Another thing is since I'm using ultra eloquence, it won't pronounce half the voice tags because it keeps saying backquote before the tag.
