This lets you potentially give yourself perfet stats. It can even be used to provide advantages during challenges, the game won't care what you use it for. If you're playing on ios, there should be challenges at least every two weeks, the vampire challenge happened just last week and lasted from tuesday to friday I think. Concerning generations, if you continue as a child of yours you just continue at the age the child was when its parents died.The time machine lets you go back in time to a previous year. You can select how far you want to go back, and you'll have to pay about 1 euro to do it. Because of my wacky brain, I have a mix of celebrities, literary fictional characters, real life friends, authors, and historical figures as well as many of my D characters. I'm best friends with an evil half-elf sorceress I created in one of my D games, and I'm also married to Selena Gomez, though in this reality she is not a latina but actually Iranian and she's a reporter. Also my stepson married William Shakespeare. Bitlife has a lot more randomness to it and you get some really silly stuff which I like.I honestly hadn't played much in some of the crimes and such because that generally isn't the way I like to behave and I haven't gotten any challenges yet, though I have a ton of ribbons and achievements, the last of which they finally expanded. The random and silly is good and all.I haven't fully explored the aspects of school yet. Also, I haven't done a lot of other stuff because I'm not one who usually does mean things.I have a couple of questions though.If you go on to the next generation, does the new character start at the age they were when your character dies or do they start at birth?also, how does the time machine work? I believe this is because the android version was started later than the ios one, and now they're basically lagging behind. This of course gives the android community the ability to directly decide what features they want added to their version from the ones already available to ios users. They said they would do that. That being said though, so much of the game is accessible now that was not before (remember the completely inaccessible stat bars for your relations anyone?) so even if they don't get the minigames done right away I'll be happy that I can play most of the game accessibly, and have faith they will eventually do it. Re: Bitlife and life simulator questions @3 you can generally get good relationships with just about everyone, though it is true that some classmates or coworkers will be more or less receptive to your efforts. Complements are a good way to raise the level if it's somewhere between 10-40%, after that, spending time or conversations are what you should use. If the relation is lower, you either shouldn't bother, or if you have money to give away, give away lots of it. Complements can still work here, but usually they'll just lower it even further or cause you to get insulted. Once you're 12 years old, things get a lot easier because a "spend time with all" button appears at the bottum of the screen, which will use the spend time action on all your relationships regardless of their level. I believe you have to watch an ad if you're playing for free though if you do that. If you're a bitizen, or don't mind sitting through the ads, it's adviseable to do this every year you can because it keeps happyness and relationships up.About the popularity system. School and work popularity is pretty hard to influence I've found, but what helps most is high looks. Even bitlife's world is a shallow one, unfortunately. School popularity shoots to 100 within a year or two if you're in a sports related extracurricular, so if your char has high athletics you can use that. When it comes to work popularity it helps to befriend as many of your coworkers as you can (yes this includes your supervisor if you're patient enough).@4 bitlife and life simulator are two pretty different games. Life simulator is more like a true game, where you progress through the various work promotions, houses, and pay money to acquire new skills, while trying not to let your stats go too low with the eventual end goal of maybe fulfilling all the phylanthropy projects. Bitlife on the other hand is far more of a simulator, there's a lot of customisation and the devs actually went so far as to add a god mode where you can fully customise any of the randomly generated people in the game. There's actually quite a community of YouTubers and other people that record videos of themselves doing random challenges they think up, and the devs recently caught onto this and started posting their own weekly challenges.@5 any action you do in life simulator will turn the clock forward a week, so manage your time well. Re: Bitlife and life simulator questions Concerning life simulator, the events that pop up for only a second are random things that increase or decrease some stats, they're not super important if you have a healthy lifestyle but just encase you should go take a look at your stats every so often if you're spamming a button. More major events that you should take a look at right away will still be shown in their own window.About bitlife, they recently made some access improvements. For instance, if you go into you relationships tab, you can instantly see the relationship you have with other people without having to go into their profile. Similarly with work or school, you can see your performance/grades and popularity with your classmates/coworkers simply by going to the relevant buttons. The minigames unfortunately still aren't accessible, and the driving license still involves some guess work, but those problems are relatively minor. However, they have said they would work on those, too.If you're doing crimes, berglery isn't as rewarding as some others because you don't actually get that much money compared to robbing banks or trains, or killing relatives in hopes of getting the inheritance. You don't need the memory test because reading books is a convenient, if tedious way of increasing smarts. If you don't want to break your finger spamming the page button, just read all the picture books you can as a child to get your smarts up quickly. When looking for smarts it doesn't seem to matter how long the book is, I've gotten 20% from a 30 page book a few times, and just 5% from a thousand page historical novel.If you're in the military, you can avoid the minesweeper game by closing the app when the prompt comes up. You'll possibly get promotions slower, but it's really not worth the risk of exploding yourself.About the prison escape minigame. It's not necessary either, but getting out of prison another way needs some planning. Make sure you have lots of money saved up, and then do the thing that potentially gets you into prison. This is especially important if you might get a life sentence because there literally is no other way for you to get out otherwise. Once you're in, just spend a few years avoiding fights to the best of your ability. Once your behavior bar is high, start appealing your sentence, and use the most expensive law firm you can find. If you lose the appeal, make sure to close out of the app and reopen it so your money isn't wasted, then age up and try again. Even if you're in for life because you killed someone, after a few years they will let you out. Finally, the eye test. Once again, I think you can avoid doing that one if you close out once the prompt appears telling you to go to the Optometrist. But even if that's not possible, it really doesn't matter. If you fail the test you'll just have to get some glasses which only change the way your avatar looks, without impacting any stats or abilities the character has.
