Re: Ignore Brakes Yeah, I know all of that, but this game is just was like a start and when I found it, I just posted it here for fun that's all.About the sounds: I just used a simple free program called SFXR if I remember it right and made all of those sounds with that one.I have no intention to buy any sounds for game if I consider to make the game free, so I don't know where to get them or how to make them without any usage limits when I use them in a free game and SFXR was the only way how I can make it. I have tried to record some sounds with my microphone and then modify it a bit, but it sounds not so reallistic at all, so I decided just not to develop audio games and it was year ago.I was thinking about the simple online fighting game, but sounds stopped me from developing this idea. Re: Ignore Brakes Hmmm.You know I'd really prefur a better engine sound.For a small game for a first game I guess its not to bad, keep to the empty space and you are fine.But its kind of ho hum for me to put it nicely.It just sounds like a small not much crap game which I guess is not surprising because I do play a lot of games that are a bit more complex than this.As a start game and a simple idea, with the basic sounds etc its not that bad though as a concept there are similar games out there.Look at sonic zoom its the same idea,.There is a mine exploder one mod of that game to somewhere.If you make any more games I'd be interested in seeing what they do. Re: Ignore Brakes We should be able to drive the car and shift gears etc. Nice first game but a bit boring. And the sounds should be changed to a real car. I have changed the car engine sound and the start sound. The start sound was a car engine starting but since it waits after the start sound played it doesn't sound that realistic.
