On my Win7 and win10 machines, I only seem to get the coin shower bonus round, but on my xp vm, I get both. I have no idea why the game behaves this way on newer machines. And yes, the game has always been registered, and I tried this over several games in a row. I always get coin shower on my newer machines but on the xp vm it randomizes properly. Re: Item Power Surge in Super Deekout What the item power surge in Super Deekout does is it increases the amount of time a powerup lasts. For example, let's say you get a speed-up item shortly after obtaining the power surge. Without it, the powerup will probably last from 10-15 seconds. With the power surge, it is doubled. In answer to @Christian's question, the power surge is obtained if the user manages to collect all the coins in the Coin Shower bonus round.
