Re: What is OBS Studio, and why do I need it? Is there a crash course on using OBS with NVDA somewhere? Or is it accessible enough that you can just read the manual and have at it? I've done most of my Youtube posts with MS' Camera app and the audio has weird pops/skips in it, so I've been looking for better recording software for a while now. Re: What is OBS Studio, and why do I need it? I like OBS because it is very easy to integrate with multiple streaming platforms and it has many options for display. It's also lightweight, ive never had any problems with it recording or streaming. As Jay points out too you can also do recordings with it. So if you want to stream or record yourself playing a game, OBS is a great option. Re: What is OBS Studio, and why do I need it? Its popular because to stream you ust smak in your stream key, then in future you just have to hit a check box. It's also good because it automatically records streams for you if you want.. There are also other benefits, but that's what I use it for. I also mainly use it to do my recordings, since I more do recordings.
