Re: closing programs from running applications on windows 7
Re: closing programs from running applications on windows 7 YOu can also go to task manager, go to the processes tab and forcably close the exe file. Let's just use an example, let's say, unfortunately, Aprone's Swamp game was having a really bad day although honestly, this never happens. If you want to close it yo'd go into task manager, processes and then press swand it should put you on swamp.exe, or you keep going down until you find it. Thank goodness for multi-letter navigation.note: as of the time of this writing, I have never experienced any problems like this with Aprone's swamp game, it was just an example. Re: closing programs from running applications on windows 7
Re: closing programs from running applications on windows 7 I don't believe that it's possible to close an application while browsing the Alt Tab list. You first have to bring the main window of the application you want to close into focus first, then use Alt F4 to close it. Re: closing programs from running applications on windows 7 Hello there,Alternatively, if you have programs that are not responding, go into the command prompt (cmd.exe) and run:taskkill /t /f /im This will forcibly terminate the application named in . It must be a full file name, such as rpg.exe for Manamon or cdb.exe for the command-line Debugger in the Debugging Tools for Windows package.
