First, it's a really thin straw, like those martini or cocktail ones, so you move extremely slowly through it. Then it widens until it's like a McDonald's straw, then even further until it's the widest point of a crazy straw, then again until it's a milkshake straw, then it's not a straw at all. It's a pipe, and you're shooting through it, quarter inch pipe, half inch, inch, two inch, drain pipe, sewer pipe, now you're floating in a void because as time passes for you, it passes faster and faster and faster and faster.In a paradoxical state, you'd think you could look forward because the straw and or pipe is so wide, but you can't. Seemingly at odds with nature itself, it's actually easier to look back, back through the construct as it narrows than it is to look forward as it widens. In fact, you don't even realize it's widening until you're in the milkshake straw. It's the opposite of looking through the wrong end of a pair of binoculars. With these gems, you want to look into the wrong end.Don't think because you've come to the realization that you're in this encapsulated space that you can alter the nature of it. Oh no, it continues to pull you inexorably through from the other side. And no matter what your stance is, it never changes. The best thing, and really the only thing to do is to simply accept it. Failing this, it will get inside your guard. Even the mightiest mental compound you can build can't stop it. Because the walls fall from within, as they were not built with brick or stone, plaster or mud. No, instead, they were built with paper mache.To defend against this monster, this beast, this tyrant, you must accept its presence in your life. Not just that, but come to understand it, and treat it as a friend. Because with all the things that strike fear into your heart regarding the presence of this force, it also bestows benefits upon all of us. Experience grows with time and practice. Injuries - both physical and emotional - heal over time. Wisdom is born of intelligence and experience, and also grows in time.
