Re: Repetitious Issue with IOS Assistive Apps

That is something I thought about when I made this topic but wasn't sure how to say it. I think that this is part of the issue and perhaps we should respond in a way that we would when someone is trying to help us across a street when we don't need it.

Re: Repetitious Issue with IOS Assistive Apps

Sure that makes sense. So why then focus on getting a handful of the same apps with the same limitations when that developer could be making something else? Maybe there isn't anything else we need right now with assistive technology. So why not make a game or something else cool instead of making something that already exists. The point of this topic is basically to ask why do developers keep making the same kinds of apps when they could be need for that app no longer exists. Is it because the developer is not doing their research, or they don't know where to look for such apps which is where my idea of a guide came from.

Re: Repetitious Issue with IOS Assistive Apps

Never said I blamed the blind comunity but I blame developers for not doing enough research before hand. That so called homework isn't done and we get apps that already exist at a lesser degree. I have the braigo app and yeah it's nice and all but something like Tap Tap See is alot faster. Also the immage discriptions don't seem as good as Tap Tap See which brings me back to my point. I'm not saying it's a bad app but it could have been better, or perhaps something new and powerful. It's like audio games having yet another racing game after a while it's just the same thing a racer.

Re: Repetitious Issue with IOS Assistive Apps

I see then this is just an IOS issue. I'll change the topic name to reflect that. Thanks.
