Re: Shadow rine issue. You still haven't told us very much. What level are you at? What part of the story are you at right now? Do you have all the characters? If you aren't meeting the requirements, the only reason I can think of is that you are missing a character, or aren't far enough in the story which is basically the same thing. Yeah, this is a waste of bp.However, when I have lots of them, I buy Lulai to be able to get items from chests in water early on.Carrying over sword exp, status items, money and locations of healing spots is sort of necessary in my opinion, which means spending 8000 bp in total. Re: Shadow rine issue. So let me understand you.You got this message when you carried over your sword level to your next playthrough.Which means your game just started, and your sword is at level 5. And it's giving you the message that you don't fulfill the proper conditions or whatnot.In your current playthrough, do you have Lilia, Elena or Rurai? I don't care what you did when you first beat the game, or how you finished that playthrough. All I care about is this one.Because what it sounds like is that you carried over your sword level, started the story over again, and rushed right over to the pedestal to jack up your sword because you'd gotten a bunch of exp from beating Rudolph and such that you'd never been able to use. I did this myself on my first playthrough. If this is, in fact, what you did, then previous posters are correct.The sword gives bonuses to specific characters as it levels up. For instance, Rurai gets faster shots, Lilia gets longer jumps, Elena gets longer sword reach, etc. This means that if the particular bonus on a given level-up would apply to a character you don't currently have, then the game simply won't let you level up the sword. It's a built-in failsafe to make sure characters aren't screwed out of their bonuses.Solution: get Lilia, and the next time you're in the temple, try and level up the sword. It might work. If it doesn't, then get Elena and repeat. If -that doesn't work (though I'm pretty sure it will), do the same with Rurai.I'm about 98% sure this is your problem. Does that make a difference? When you don't have enough exp, the game will say something around the line of. You need 900 experience to level up the sword something something. Shadow rine issue. Hi. So When I beat easy mode I chose one of the endings. But when I took over the soard level when I bought it with bp, When I start the game in normal and hard mode, I get an error when I try to level up my soard. Does the endings matter? or Do I have to chuse a happy ending?
