Re: What in your opinion shit paid games have To make it worth buying

For me, it depends upon a variety of things: 1: Engrossing, how engrossing is the game to play. Does the game engage my judgement or is  basically a glorified bop it.2: longevity, is the game one I'm going to complete in half an hour? does it have achievements or something else progressive with achievements, awards, stat tracking etc.3: atmosphere, how is the audio/text/background of the game? is the voice acting good? does it take place in a world I  to experience and see more of. 4: originality, how original is the game in its execution and style and do we have other games like it? These days a space invaders game would need to be pretty good to get me to pay for it being as there are so many kicking around.5: price, how much is the developer asking relative to the content they've provided. Also, is the content the developer has provided actually going to bennifit me in my playing of the game, after all there is no point me paying for the super uba weapon of one shot killing if it's ultimately more fun for me to earn my way through all the other available weapons, or to buy the donator package if all the donator package gives you is a larger inbox and ability to customise your player title.Of course, all of these factors can balance each other out. I bought audio wizards, even in the full knowledge that it was an arcade style reaction game based upon the quality of its audio and world and the positive attitude of the developers, likewise, I bought a blind legend quite aware that it wouldn't take me too long to complete because I liked the audio cut scenes. By the same token, I'll often drop developers a donation if I like what they're doing even if the game is free, most recently I did this with Planet life on Itch.io.Oh and I'm afraid I must disagree with simter's comment in post two. I'm more than happy to pay for a done, complete and finished game, indeed in some cases I actually prefer to know what I'm playing has a definite and total end, rather than something which will only give me half a story and which I'll have to wait for.hth.

Lol. And a really important factor is constant updates. I really don't like paying for games that have no updates for years and an unclear status.

What in your opinion shit paid games have To make it worth buying

So I’ve been wondering this myself. If someone makes a paid game what would make it worth buying. I might develop games in the future and I would like to know what would make them worth it to play. If I ever go the paid route
