code7 problem hi I am stuck in code7. this is the problem. wen I complete the puzzle with the security cameras and get all the info about the professor I cant go back to the security room from ennywear. it just wont apere. Operating system, a bit of info about the hardware, etc. Also, where did you buy the game from?Did you try turning on the game, but not turning VI mode on? If you do not press control+v, does that progress bar you mentioned still show up, or does the menu load normally? And of course, if the menu does load, check if you can just press control+v then.Could you try running the game as administrator, and in compatibility mode? That has fixed some problems in the past. Also, if you got the DRM-free version (itch or Humble Bundle) and have it unpacked somewhere else, perhaps you could try moving the folder to Program Files and giving it the appropriate permissions. Maybe that would change something, but I'm just guessing here.If you go toC:\Users\Username\AppData\LocalLow\GoodwolfStudio\Code 7you will find a file called output_log.txt. Could you upload that to a cloud or file sharing service, please? Or if you have a Discord account, you can just join the Goodwolf server and send it there. Although those issues are usually lag, overheating and the like, not the game crashing before it even loads.How come you are running it in a VM? Code 7 does have a Mac version. The output log, at least?I don't own a Mac, so can't say if Steam is or isn't accessible. But could you at least install the client and see how it goes; the worst that can happen is that you're right and it indeed isn't accessible, and in that case you can just uninstall it. If anyone reading this knows how to use Steam with Voice Over, help would be much appreciated.I did notice you said Boot Camp in your post; I just figured that was, in a way, a VM of sorts. That way, you could get round Steam not being accessible slightly by remotely downloading from the mobile app or website when the native client is open.I've been able to play Code 7 on 4GB RAM on an Intel Atom, but I guess your mileage will vary based on CPU usage, graphics, ETC.Are you able to use OCR to find out what accompanies that progress bar?
