I've only ever played on Ios myself but I believe the Android version got all the same fixes as far as labels and navigation aids go, though likely some more regular android users can correct me on this. On Ios you navigate the map by hitting the "zoom out" button, then hitting the "navigator" button to bring up a list of planets you can travel to, ordered with the closest first, and I believe Android works the same way. It's a little tricky to get started in star traders but once you do it's a lot of fun.
