As regards lone wolf all the books, including some of the spinoffs like greystar the wizard can be found at http://www.projectaon.org/new.htm in very screen reader friendly html versions, I've been playing them occasionally for years, they're something I go back to whenever I need cheering up. It would be really nice to have a program to keep stats and roll numbers and such, but since the books are just html pages going to the right choices isn't difficult, all you need the ability to roll a digital dice and write a character sheet.Hth. Re: heroes rise text guides? I would say that, at least for the first game, it is literally all black and white and that's a problem. This changed in the second and third games and for the spinoffs, but in the first game there are often only 2 or 3 choices and sometimes they are directly based off of your stats, with one choice being unavailable. As for the strategy guides I'm not sure, you could try OCR on the pictures. They say something like the following:Choose the best option for your character's current personality.The thing that I like and hate about the games is it's not all black and white. I.e, some choices, while seeming to be honorable might not be classified as such by the author. I managed to get a perfect legendary score for the first game and that was it for me. Hmmm ogomez92 I played through heroes rise and remember the perfect legend guide, and I thought a similar one was available for the second game, though as I only played through part of that I could well be wrong. @KenshiraTheTrinity, I won't deny lone wolf is bloody awesome (also try the ff project and chronicles of arborell if you like games where you die), however I'll disagree that the cog/hg system doesn't have its up sides, I tend to find I worry more about my stats and actions in cog/hg games than I do in the more traditional ff type, for some reason the stats always make me more invested in what is going on and whether my actiosn are having the most direct effect. Indeed, in the last monster master, I acively had to give up because I was constantly worrying about my monsters wellbeing . Re: heroes rise text guides? As I remember when I played through heroes rise, you could buy a text guide as an in ap upgrade which you could read after you finished the game. The guide told you how to go through and get all the special upgrades and max respect and such. I don't know if the guides on facebook are the same thing, but if the guide is no longer available in the game itself it might be worth a check. Actually I need to get back to the Cog titles, I haven't played through any ever since they switched to the single ap, in particular its a bit odd for me since the single ap has many of the games I still own stand alone versions of heroes rise included.
