And please explain the bug better, we might be able to work this out with liblouis so it could be implemented and fixed in NVDA in march next year. Or who knows, maybe it got fixed already as I saw a few German issues posted to the list a couple of months and its just time before they update... for some reason they are still using liblouis from April this year when its last updated was just two weeks ago. But they always use the next to latest liblouis version anyway. Re: old nvda version The recent versions of NVDA have seen only improvements and that has convinced me to fully switch to it, something I couldn't imagine doing one year ago, for instance.Now two things feel so strange:1. The transitioning process whichI can't even remember how it occurred; I just started working with NVDA full time at university and never thought whether it lacked anything or not.2. Using JAWS again. I confess it feels so weird!I wouldn't think of going back to any older version of NVDA because the current version does most of the things very well, but one of my favourite versions was 17.4. Re: old nvda version @4, my most problem about the new version is how the braille output looks like. It looked much better in earlier versions. I use german grade 2 and it really bothers if a word is written only capital letters before every letter there suddenly is the fourth point shown. That really irretates when reading. I hate this version.And a really strange problem again but this was in every version, sometimes NVDA suddenly crashes with no error. If I'm standing on spesific files or sometimes on websites NVDA doesn't do anything anymore. Don'tunderstand what this means. In those days, NVDA didn't even have its own synthesizer yet, and still looked somewhat like an enhanced version of Narrator (push-button anyone)? Re: old nvda version It sure is. The oldest release I tried is 0.6 p3 which I assume is from 2006. It does run on Windows 10, but be aware that you should of course use this only for playing around and seeing how NVDA evolved over time. It wont support pretty much anything modern.
