Re: problem with raizer kraken Ok, if you just plug the headset into your computer's mic/headphone jacks, and you say the problems are as bad as they are, I would suspect the sound driver on your computer of being faulty. Have you tried updating that? Re: problem with raizer kraken Did the headset come with a CD with drivers on it? Even if the driver says it's only compatible with Windows 7, you might be able to trick it into installing. Try going to the setup file for the driver, hit alt enter for properties, switch to the compatibility tab, and then find the checkbox that says "run this program in compatibility mode for." Check that box. Then, tab to the combo box where you can select an OS. Scroll up or down until you find Windows 7. You can also tab to the run as administrator checkbox and check that, to be safe. Hit apply and then ok as usual to exit the dialog, and try running the setup file again.if that doesn't work, you could also try installing the driver using device manager. Open device manager, either using the control panel or the Win+x menu. Scroll down to sounds and audio devices. You can then select your headset from the list of devices you have installed. press your applications key to open the context menu, then go down to update driver software and press enter. Once that screen appears, select the "browse my computer for driver software" button. Now, point it to your CD drive, or wherever the software is located, and see if it will install. it might not; Windows 10 has a habit of either A. telling you that your device is up to date because the driver you're installing is older, or B. installing the driver, but forcing it to revert to the newer one upon the next reboot. It's seriously annoying.maybe these solutions will work, maybe not. And of course, if you don't have a driver CD, this whole post was pointless anyway, although I'm sure someone else may benefit from it. I forget if you said if you tried this or not, but you could also try going to the manufacturer's website, searching for the model of your headset, and seeing if they have a driver or firmware package that you can install.
