True but I've not found any that quote this capability in their feature lists, yet I have about four or five cheap, probably crap, battery units that will all work just fine this way, and I use them on a bunch of rPis too. -- Hardware: 3x Touch, 1x Radio, 2x Receivers, 1 HP Microserver NAS with Debian+LMS 7.9.0 Music: ~1300 CDs, as 450 GB of 16/44k FLACs. I just bought a power bank for a RPi-based radio I built and I had to buy one that was completely oversized (10,800 mAh which gives me around 24h of operation with that device) one because that was the only on that would turn on automatically, allow operation while charging and had two outputs. I also recommend the following apps (Apps Gallery from SBT touch screen): - Enhanced Digital Output (disables analogue out) - Display Off Battery life seems to be significantly better. It's a reasonable assumption that noise is lowered too.
