I haven't tried anything other than the stock powersupply with my SB3 yet, but I did notice the very narrow soundstage compared to other transports and sources. I put one ferrite chokes around the DC and the AC portion of the cords, it opened it up a bit. I'd go BNC over RCA anyday, better connection, self cleaning, cables are generally shielded over RCA ones. Wow great resource, great thing about live recordings they don't have the overly compressed dynamic range that most modern CDs have. Some of my songs don't display a couple of characters (some of the Kanji), what do I have to do to fix this? I read some older posts about need unicode tagging and something about putting font sets in the graphics directories such as code2000 and cyberbit. Are these still required? Or is it's a problem with this version of Slimcenter, should I try the beta?
