Got my CA DacMagic, first impression (no fully run-in yet), it delivers a wider, deeper and more dynamic soundstage, better clarity, i can hear different depth of music with ease, it provides a very good and clear 3D sound imaging especially at mid-range (vocal) frequencies. I tried them at both digital sources, i.e. CA 540C CD player and Squeezebox Classic. I believe it would be more warmer and musical after full run-in. Thanks for your response. @Darreneats - I have done a lot of speaker positioning and have found several favorite spots with marking. I am looking at room acoustic treatment too. Intend to add a wool curtain at the back of my listening chair to prevent the sound travelling down to grond floor via void/staircase (didn't i mention my listening room is at 1st floor?) IMO, i do not like to EQ, it would make the music sounds artificial, studio-like, i rather listen to the original, natural music without EQ. A few of my friends said that the next improvement of my audio system is the source then the acoustic treatment. Today i made an audition on italian made Audio Analogue Primo Settanta integrated amplifier(USD 949) paired with SF Concertino Domus, its very musical, lively and clear especially on jazz/classical music. I may look into hybrid integrated amplifier Audio Analogue Verdi Settanta, unfortunately it's not available for audition. Anyone or owner of Audio Analogue would like to give comments? I have yet made enough audition except Audio Analogue Primo, but feedback from hifi suppliers on Creek, Roksan, they are not so musical to pair with Sonus Faber. I am favored solid state integrated amplifier or hybrid integrated amplifier. I have listened to SF Concertino Domus vs AE Aegis Evo One today. Concertino Domus provides generous sound images of great scale and clarity with natural pespective over Evo One. Musical instruments can be easily and well defined especially when I listened to jazz and classical music. Iphone, ivan, riffer, thanks for sharing your view. I may consider Sonus Faber Concertino Domus bookshelf speaker (USD 1150) as it was introduced to me when I visited audio shop last week. I heard good review about this speaker and it delivers best sound for jazz, classical music which match my taste and it meets my budget if I trade in my current speaker (USD 180). I didn't have the opportunity to do audio test on this speaker, the sales guy will go a demo test with my current setup for comparison. Appreciate all your response to my thread and share me your experience. Currently, my speakers and amplifier are well matched though they are entry-level. I enjoy very much the sound produced. Well, I agree with adamslim's point, save the money for future big upgrading.
