The longer it is left; the more people will have bought. Therefore,
that's more wrath - not less.

I say earlier is better.

I'll have to second this. Whatever the reason, my Transporter just

It really does beat the pants off my old set up of linear PSU, SB3 and

by comparison.

Now, if only I could configure the screens correctly..

Thanks Gary. I'd forgotten that there was a differential for the
difference in DAC's.

I'm thinking of making a change to get the most from this setup (big
DSP's as you know from t'other forum).

I seem to recall you're going down the T+ route. Are you still using
the SB+ currently?

cheers

So are you saying there only 3 properly designed dacs? If all you read
is this forum I can understand how you have come to that, IMO, mistaken
opinion.

The SB+ is my primary source at the moment, digital out into the DAC
section of my CD player, both of which are fed by a couple of power
conditioners which make a huge difference. If Patrick still does home
demo's on the SB+ it would be worth checking it out, especially in
light of the feedback on the T+ so far, it's not looking too good, may
end up keeping the SB+/CD(DAC) combo.

For my personal wish list, I'd like a digital-only Transporter without
the knob and buttons, but with the dual displays.

And there's: May be I want to sync the source to a system wordclock
(which I do) ...

And add to the wish list: One without the handles :-O

The SB+ with the standard DAC rather than the upgraded DAC (which is
redundant for your purpose) is £800, quite a saving on the UK price of
the Transporter.
