I just did a UK order - it should be around $1.70 USD for shipping,
about $2 for paypal fees and $17.50 for the transformer. Confirm with
me and I will do the request tonight/tomorrow.

Can you get one for me, check your PM

Thanks,

Jason.

I'm quite tempted, I'd like to add a transformer and BNC output to my
sb2, preferably keeping the original rca output. Does this sound
feasable? Havn't done much research, so any advice on transformer type
would be appreciated.

Sure - there is actually some room in the case to do this with the SB2.
You can parallel the output with what I believe is no degradation in
sound. I would probably upgrade the RCA connector in the SB2 since it
is budget. The SMD are very small and the non-SMD transformers are
still compact. I believe you fit the BNC between the current RCA
digital out and the analog outputs. Right now I have the transformer
sitting there (blutacked to the circuit board), but even so, I think I
could put the BNC connector there if it is not too deep.

OK, so I'll have one to play with. SMD I guess, so SC947-02 unless you
want to advise otherwise. Most of my audio is at 44.1 so it needs to
work well from 32 kHz.

I'm in the UK but can pay via paypal. I'm off out now, but will check
back later.

I just need one more transformer to hit the minimum and place the order.
So calling all fence sitters. This is pretty easy. I will try to get
some pictures up to help SB2 people. I think Gary's instructions would
help SB3 people out.

The web page for products is here:
 http://www.scientificonversions.com

I need to get about 4 more transformers to make the minimum. Let me
know if you are interested and I will do all the legwork. The pricing
is $15 from SC - with shipping and tax it worked out to around $17.50
per transformer and then I would pass on straight shipping to anyone
ordering. The turnaround is about 10 days.

I have for sale 2 SC916-01 transformers. These are the kind
recommended by GaryB for the source side (SB2/3). They are 1:1 and are
the larger - non-SMD parts. I have used one successfully in my SB2 and
could walk someone through the installation.

The link to scientificonversions does not work. What are the
differences between the two transformers/converters? I am interested in
a linear power supply for my SB3. Will one of these do the job?

No, these are signal transformers!
They have absolutely nothing to do with power supplies.

Sure. I have the SC916-01 in stock and will order the 2 SC947-02. Is
payment via Paypal OK with you? I project final pricing will be
roughly $17.50 per transformer, about $5 for total shipping and
handling.

Thanks a lot, I appreciate it and no problem for the payment, I have a Paypal
account. So just let me know...

Could you add another SC947-02 to my order, getting the total up to 4?

I'll take one of the extra SC916-01 off of you as well, if that helps.

to be exact). I would be glad to add a SC916-01 as well. It is
sitting next to me.
