[aur-general] Request: Renaming stasks-manager-plasmoid
Hello to everyone ;) I'm Flamelab from AUR. Can a TU, please, rename my package from stasks-manager-plasmoid to smooth-tasks-plasmoid ? That happens because it has been renamed upstream and because, after installation, it is referred as Smooth Tasks in Plasmoids in KDE, instead of Stasks I think that if I try to rename it, a new package entry will be generated in AUR (and my package will not be renamed), so I think a TU can do it. Regards, Panos

Regards, Panos we can't do much about renaming package. the name is in PKGBUILD so you have to upload a package with the right name. After doing that, email us and tell that we need to delete the older package. -- Ionut

[aur-general] Orphan request for Flickr On Plasma
Hello, I'd like to take over maintenance for the Flickr on Plasma package on AUR [1] (since I'm the author of this plasmoid). I haven't received any answer from Kido both by the AUR comment system and by direct email (requested 27 June and 18 July respectively). Could a TU please orphan this so I can keep this entry up to date? [1] http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=22167 Thanks in advance, -- Bram Schoenmakers What is mind? No matter. What is matter? Never mind. (Punch, 1855)

Hey. I have a developer's account as vesa and TU account as vegai. I'd prefer to use the latter for everything, but it'll be less work for you to just give vesa permissions to community packages in the dashboard. So I wonder what you'll do :P It was far easier to just give you permissions to community with the existing account :) To all you still waiting for your account (I think there's 3), I've been backlogged at work. I'll get to them tomorrow, I swear. To those who have not sent me info, please do so. Anyone know who is missing?
[aur-general] Orphan and delete requests
Hello, User Ranguvar here. I would like to please request that: -- The package 'dolphin-emu-binhttp://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=26683' is deleted. This package is completely broken, and my own package ' dolphin-emu-svn-bin http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=27400' provides the same. -- The package 'fluxbox-git http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=15047' is orphaned. I have tried contacting the maintainer using several different email addresses, and have failed (waited for several weeks). If he/she shows up again, I'd be glad to hand it back over if he/she wants. I have a completely fixed and revamped PKGBUILD ready. Thanks very much :-) Also, you can expect my TU application in some months, once I have had more experience with the AUR and more experience with C and with CMake, Autotools, etc. ;-) A nice day to you.
