[aur-general] SLiM up for adoption
Hi devs, Hi TUs, I am orphaning SLiM (login manager): upstream is dead, patches keep piling up, and I actually stopped using that package a while ago. As far as I know, our current package has only one unfixed bug: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/26579 Anyhow, I will move that package to the AUR in a week or so unless a dev or a TU wishes to adopt it. Cheers. -- Gaetan

I also wonder, shy it is in category "X11". It's a tool that should not need any X11-related libraries, because libjpeg is, what it uses directly... Ciao, Oliver

[aur-general] [Removal Request] rinse
Although I'm not the maintainer or original submitter, I'd ask for rinse to be removed. The package hasn't been maintained since 2009, flagged out of date, and the comments are from 2011 asking for updates and the maintainer or submitter has not responded (Comments coming from June). I actually want to maintain it as I have created an updated PKGBUILD and want to submit it but unable due to it already existing. So I ask for it to be removed so I can submit the updated version. Thanks, Michael
[aur-general] outdated package: "jpegtran" flagged as outdated since 2011-08-02
Hello, the package "jpegtran" is flagged outdated since 2011-08-02 and I want to use it. https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=20176 Can the maintainer be triggered to update, or can the package maintainer be changed? if the maintainer don't want to update it, I could adopt it. Ciao, Oliver

[aur-general] deletion request: xf86-video-geode-latest
Hello, The package xf86-video-geode-latest[1] I submitted long ago is no longer needed, as the one in [extra] is perfectly working and up to date. [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=29916 All the best
