Sorry, it seems it's a bit of a false alarm; the package maintainer just
contacted me saying he'll abandon it himself.

The maintainer has not for many months about bad checksums and a user's
request for a systemd service (which was provided in one of the comments
too!). In addition, he has another package flagged out-of-date since July.

If neither of them work, I'd rather wait for one maintainer to respond
before I merge one into the other.

Merged ndn2 and ndn-beta into ndn. Thanks!

Hello,

these packages provide the same.

ocaml-typerex https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=56919
typerex https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/typerex/ Better name,
typerex is not a library
Both packages right now do not build under ocaml 4.0, but that may change.

ndn https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/ndn/
ndn2 https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/ndn2/ Orphaned, dupe of ndn
ndn-beta https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/ndn-beta/ Orphaned, upstream
obviously only provides stable releases

2012-11-06 Thread Devin J. Pohly
Hi there,

Could you merge the sm-ssc package [1] into the stepmania package [2]?

[1]: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/sm-ssc/
[2]: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/stepmania/

The sm-ssc fork is now the official code for StepMania [3], and the
sm-ssc package itself is both orphaned and outdated. The previous
maintainer (Artefact2) posted a comment there directing users to use
stepmania instead.

[aur-general] [Removal Request] tyrs and tyrs-git

2012-11-06 Thread Alexandre Ferrando
Hello,

I was wondering if you could please remove this two packages, tyrs [ 0 ]
and tyrs-git [ 1 ] as upstream is kind of dead ( last commit is 8 months
old) and the developer has stepped out and even recommended the use of
another software instead of his own [ 2 ]

Thank you in advance.
