Done, thanks.

I have also disowned all of archme's packages as several were flagged
out-of-date since 2012. The account has not shown any activity since then
either.

[aur-general] pkg deletion request

2014-04-24 Thread flower_of_l...@gmx.net

Hi maintainers,

I would like to ask for pkg deletion.

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/openrc-sys-split/

I have merged this pkg with openrc-base, it has become obsolete.

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/openrc-desktop-split/
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/openrc-devel-split/
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/openrc-misc-split/
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/openrc-net-split/

I will upload these source packages again without the *split suffix.

Thank you, artoo

[aur-general] Request for orphaning fusiondirectory package

2014-04-24 Thread Côme Bernigaud

Hello,

The package fusiondirectory is out of date since several years (not sure
it even worked).
I tried last year contacting the maintainer by email and got no answer.
I commented the package last week and still no reaction.

Could it be orphaned please? About fusiondirectory-plugins, it might as
well be deleted as we intend to package each plugin on its own.

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/fusiondirectory
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/fusiondirectory-plugins/

Côme,
FusionDirectory main developper.

Blender CC'd here.

Regarding ngxtop: It needs to be merged either way. I'm fine disowning
all of these by the way.

OK then, I agree with you.

Have you contacted the current maintainers of those packages? (Blender and
bgaleotti, in particular) I'll do the merge if they agreed or didn't respond
to you after certain period of time.

Essentially, the only user of the version 2 of these packages is (was)
mediacrush-server-git and we are currently working for proper Python 3
support in there. In the mean time, the mediacrush-server-git package
does not actually build and is currently useless due to other reasons.
Imo there is no real point in keeping the python2 package around for a
long time unless it is actually needed by something, same logic as for
all "old versions of libs" applies here.
