Ask the maintainer to add you as a co-maintainer or to disown the package.

Unfortunately the current maintainer (gearshift
) cannot be contacted via the
AUR page as his email is hidden.

Then you can attempt to contact him through the AUR comments for this package 
and/or file an orphan request.
