[aur-general] Deletion request

2013-12-20 Thread Jente Hidskes
Hello,

Please delete [1], as I removed the code from GitHub and thus, the source is
not available anymore.

Thanks in advance,

Jente

[aur-general] Remove dunst-light-git from AUR

2012-08-14 Thread Jente Hidskes
Hello,
Recently, I have uploaded a package (named dunst-light-git) to the AUR. Only
afterwards I found out from the developer of Dunst (Knopwob) that the light
version isn't maintained anymore and that soon, he is going to delete the
relevant branch from his GitHub. He recommended me and other users to use the
normal version instead.
Because of this, I ask you to remove that package from AUR: it's no longer
maintained and soon, the files will be removed from Github and the PKGBUILD is
just useless.
I had searched Google on how to remove an AUR package and came across two
topics on the Arch boards that said I had to notify the maintainers on this
mailing list. If this is not the correct way anymore, then please regard this
email as not send. I do hope though that I am doing this in the correct way
and that you will remove my package from the AUR.
Thanks in advance,
Jente

Hey,
Thanks. I had recently changed my Hotmail account to Outlook, but forgot to
change this in the AUR settings. I'll do this right away now. Thanks for
deleting the package!

[aur-general] Request to remove gstopwatch-git

2013-04-28 Thread Jente Hidskes
Hello,

I would like to request that gstopwatch-git[1] gets removed from the AUR,
reason being that I have uploaded a new package gtimeutils-git[2] that contains
gstopwatch and another application as well (gtimer). In both cases, I am the
owner (and submitter) of the package.

[1] https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/gstopwatch-git/
[2] https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/gtimeutils-git/

I think that is sufficient information. Thanks.

How are we doing at this? I see various new deletion requests coming by that
get removed almost instantly.

Cheers,

Jente
