[aur-general] Concern about 'weepcraft' package

2014-01-12 Thread Schala Zeal
I came across a package in the AUR recently updated called 'weepcraft.'
It is apparently a hacked Minecraft client, most likely intended for
malicious purposes. Additionally, Mojang states in the Minecraft product
not to redistribute the software, and the "Weepcraft" website apparently
does just that.

[aur-general] Concerning mingw-w64-qt

2012-08-06 Thread Schala Zeal
I was hoping to get mingw-w64-qt placed into multilib or community repo
because today I had built the package, but it took approximately TEN
HOURS to do so. This is because it builds static release, static debug,
shared release, and shared debug for both 32 and 64-bit. I will admit
the full suite is very handy, but it would be great to have a binary
package in the repo to save people the abysmal build time.

Seeing as mingw-w64's toolchain has a good number of votes and Qt's
widespread use, I feel it would be a great benefit to cross platform
developers, again, given the circumstances of the above issue.

[aur-general] Removal request

2012-07-28 Thread Schala Zeal
I would like to recommend the orphaned package mingw32-zlib-static be
removed, as mingw32-zlib offers a static library as well as a DLL import
library.

[aur-general] Delete request

2012-07-26 Thread Schala Zeal
I'd like mingw32-sqlite3 and mingw32-sqlite3-static deleted, as the
native package is simply 'sqlite', not 'sqlite3'. I will be submitting
mingw32-sqlite to reflect this convention. Thanks.

I had submitted wine-locale to the AUR after testing the script to run
it. It worked so I assumed it was ready to package. However, it turns
out this script really hates paths other than it was downloaded from.

[aur-general] Notice: Disowning all my mingw32-* packages

2012-05-17 Thread Schala Zeal
I've decided to drop maintenance for every mingw32-* package I owned on
AUR to focus on mingw-w64-* instead. Please feel free to adopt any of
the mass-orphaned packages.

[aur-general] Removal request: mingw32-fftw-static

2012-04-25 Thread Schala Zeal
Please remove https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=28658

I recently submitted mingw32-fftw, which compiles both shared and static

2012-04-23 Thread Schala Zeal
Please remove https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=24287

[aur-general] Merge requests

2012-03-09 Thread Schala Zeal
Hi, I unfortunately had some criticism from a former package
maintainer about the naming of my Lazarus packages that I would have
to agree with. If it's not too much trouble I'd like to merge the
following packages:

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=57393 into

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=57383 into

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=57384 into

Thanks!

Re: [aur-general] Merge requests

2012-03-09 Thread Schala Zeal
Thanks. Additionally, I made a few more screwups yesterday. I
submitted i386-beos-binutils and i386-haiku-binutils-git assuming FPC
would build cross compilers for those successfully, but apparently
not. BeOS is outdated, but I orphaned it in case of the slight chance
someone fancies maintaining binutils targeted for older systems. The
Haiku one, while FPC did fail, it indicated missing libraries, so I'm
considering cross-building the Haiku system as well to get the
libraries and then bundling that with its binutils/gcc to get
something functional. I'm probably going to maintain 2 packages of
that: one for gcc4, and one for binary compatability (gcc2) in case
any Arch based Haiku developers care to choose.

[aur-general] Merge requests

2012-03-08 Thread Schala Zeal
Due to a road block in my maintenance of the Free Pascal cross
compiler packages, I've had to resort to splitting each package in
two. Everything has been resolved now and I'd like to request merging
the following packages. I do apologise for my frequent requests
lately, but now that I have this under control, I hope to leave you
guys alone for a while after this

Please merge the following, as these packages no longer should
indicate providing a compiler, but rather a runtime now:

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=57339 into
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=57378
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=57341 into

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=57313 into

Again, I apologise for the frequent removal requests.

[aur-general] Removal request: x86_64-darwin-binutils

2012-03-06 Thread Schala Zeal

[aur-general] Package rename requests: mingw32-lcms1 and mingw32-lcms

2012-02-15 Thread Schala Zeal
I am hoping to get the two mentioned packages renamed to fit naming
conventions for packages.

mingw32-lcms1 -> mingw32-lcms
mingw32-lcms -> mingw32-lcms2

Renaming these that way would make better sense. Thanks.

[aur-general] Adopt/orphan request: mingw32-gettext

2012-02-14 Thread Schala Zeal
I would like to request mingw32-gettext be orphaned. The provided
email address of the maintainer seems to be no longer valid, as
sending a notice to him resulted in a failure delivery notice in my
inbox, and mingw32-gettext, although up to date, is in need of
PKGBUILD tweaking because the current configuration causes the build
stage to fail. Thanks

[aur-general] Removal request: aurorasim-git and tao-framework

2012-02-14 Thread Schala Zeal
Please delete 'aurorasim-git' and 'tao-framework' AUR packages
These packages are two of my mistakes. The first one, aurorasim-git,
was submitted when I was still a newbie last summer and it was not
tested before submission. Even after testing it a while later, it's
broken and the Aurora-Sim project is very unkempt as it is so having
this package isn't much use.

The second one, 'tao-framework', works. However I discovered a little
late that another package, 'taoframework' (no hyphen) already exists
and seems to do a cleaner job of building and installation.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
