[aur-general] Orphan request: bacula
Hi guys, I'm trying to take back the bacula AUR package to continue maintaining. https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/bacula/ I am the submitter of the original AUR package: Submitter: CRCinAU I am listed as a maintainer in the PKGBUILD file: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/ba/bacula/PKGBUILD # Maintainers: Steven Haigh # goll I have tried contacting goll to update the package, but have not heard a response for some time (and a few revisions). I hereby request that either the package be orphaned so I can pick it up and update it in future, or the maintainer be changed by to myself (ie the submitter). Thanks. -- Steven Haigh Email: net...@crc.id.au Web: http://www.crc.id.au Phone: (03) 9001 6090 - 0412 935 897 Fax: (03) 8338 0299 signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature

I figure either: a) I can take it back and update it - and maintain it long term; or b) people can flame me and I'll just build it locally for the future - and ignore it on AUR. I'd much rather do option A. -- Steven Haigh Email: net...@crc.id.au Web: http://www.crc.id.au Phone: (03) 9001 6090 - 0412 935 897 Fax: (03) 8338 0299 signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature

[aur-general] Retake control of AUR package?
Hi guys, I dropped the bacula package for goll to take over - but it seems I've had much more free time to work on this and haven't been able to get him to update the package on AUR... I submitted the package in the first place. Is there a way to take it over again to keep it updated? -- Steven Haigh Email: net...@crc.id.au Web: http://www.crc.id.au Phone: (03) 9001 6090 - 0412 935 897 Fax: (03) 8338 0299 signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature
