[aur-general] Disown requests

2014-03-17 Thread carstene1ns
Hello,
please disown ta3d[1], libclaw[2] and plee-the-bear[3].
I contacted maintainer darkbaboon with a patch for ta3d (2014-01-19) and
received no response. The other two packages are out of date and can be
updated easily.

Also, please disown opensonic[4]. It does not build against recent
libpng and needs a fix. I tried to contact the maintainer luceo
(2014-02-13), but received no response. Apparently he disappeared from
the internet by the end of 2012.

best regards,

You should not do this. Instead post a link to the updated PKGBUILD in
the comments. I will delete this duplicate.

Check your sent items and reply once it has been two weeks with no
response.

There may be good reasons why a package has not been updated, so an email
to the maintainer is what we go on.

On further inspection, your package should be fossil-git. Please upload
with this new name and I will merge it. fossil should follow the stable
version.

I've post an updated PKGBUILD on fossil & fossil-fossil.
If you insist it should be rename to fossil-git, let me know, I'll upload a
new PKGBUILD.

Yes, please upload it with the right name; git packages should end with -git.

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Arch_CVS_%26_SVN_PKGBUILD_guidelines

Please also do not top-post.

[aur-general] Disown requests: ceceron's packages

Neither of them has been updated in years despite both being OOD.

[aur-general] Disown requests: mma and balsamiqmockups

2014-03-20 Thread John K. Luebs
Hi,

I'd like to get mma disowned. I contacted the author and did not get a
response, and the package has not been updated in over 2 years.

I'd also like balsamiqmockups disowned. It has also not been updated
in over a year and the maintainer has not responded to PKGBUILD
maintenance. I have updates together and will adopt.

Thanks,
John

I've tried contacting aavci several times through several channels to
no reply. The pkgver() needs to be fixed since the git repo doesn't
have tags.
