[aur-general] Merge package request

2012-12-03 Thread Francisco Pina Martins
Dear TU's,

I have uploaded the following packages to the AUR:
python2-biopython
python-biopython

to replace:
biopython
python3-biopython

respectively and make the packages respect the new arch linux naming
guidelines.
I have kept both versions in the AUR for a week, to give a chance for
packages that depended on biopython to update their dependences, which
they now have (one of those packages seems not to be maintained any more
tough).
Could you please merge the old packages with the new ones, keeping the
comments and votes?
Thank you very much.

Francisco Pina Martins

Both merged.

Please include links to packages you mentioned next time in these
requests, thanks!

I tend to think the former is a much better name than the latter. If the
browser is already I designed to be libre, why does it require the
statement in the name?

Jaja you're right but I thought all the PKGBUILD around that name (i had to
rewrite it because the former didn't work) and forget to rename the
src.tar.xz package before uploading it.
But... if you like the former one I can do it again with that name, so...
remove iceweasel-libre then XD

Thanks!

Always favor the upstream name. I've deleted -libre.
