PKGBUILD with python-hglib as a pkgbase.

Please disregard, I'd never submitted a merge request and had no idea there
was a web form for this. I've submitted this as PRQ#3699.

[aur-general] Merge request: pyglet-hg and python-pyglet-hg

2014-06-26 Thread Allen Li
Hi,

Please merge pyglet-hg [1] into python-pyglet-hg [2]

Pyglet is a Python library, so it should have the python- prefix.

Disclaimer: I'm the maintainer for python-pyglet-hg, and I stole some
of lubosz's PKGBUILD and updated mine.

P.S. I had a hell of a time getting the permissions right manually so
the new AUR would accept it. Would this be a bug in mkaurball?

2014-05-19 Thread Jerome Leclanche
Merge https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/kwin-standalone-git/ into

The KF5 branch has the standalone kwin improvements and is more up to date.

Delete https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/python-sqlalchemy-0.4/
Out of date. One package depends on it, however that package is out of
date too -- its latest version works with community/python-sqlalchemy
just fine.

Both are removed. The package which depends on python-sqlalchemy-0.4
(sflvault) have been removed too:
1. It is out-of-date
2. It has no maintainer
3. It has a broken dependencies. First one is pycrypto which may be replaced
by pycrypto-git. And second one is python-pysqlite - we have onle python2
package in our repos, but it seems that the package depends on python3
modules.

I don't know the project, but isn't pipe better name that pipe2? I

as PIPE2, the current version is PIPEv4.x.y and the documentation says
PIPE 5. This suggests that the -2 actually refers to a(n old) version
and in that case pipe would be more appropriate. Also, in that case
I could merge pipe2 into pipe immediately.

skimmed over the web and they sometimes refer to it as PIPE, sometimes
as PIPE2, the current version is PIPEv4.x.y and the documentation says
PIPE 5. This suggests that the -2 actually refers to a(n old) version
and in that case pipe would be more appropriate. Also, in that case
I could merge pipe2 into pipe immediately.

 Lukas

Well, I suggested the main name of the project to be PIPE2 because both
the old development website [1] and the current one [2] refer to it as
PIPE2.

I agree with you, all these versions seem confusing, but I find 'pipe'
to be a name too generic. At least, 'pipe2' usually returns better
search results with your favorite search engine than simply 'pipe'.

Hello, sorry for the late response. It's been a busy week. I have sent
a message to the maintainer of the zfs-dkms package asking him to
disown the package. We'll see if he responds. And you are correct,
zfs-dkms-therp would be replaced by the dkms package that I will
maintain.

Should we ask the maintainer of zfs-dkms-therp to disown his zfs packages?

It doesn't seem like anyone uses zfs-dkms-therp because it should
definitely be flagged out of date; there is no way it could build with
the current kernel.

Also, the names for the packages I suggested earlier are incorrect,
they should really be:

zfs-git-dkms
zfs-utils-git-dkms
spl-git-dkms
spl-utils-git-dkms

and

zfs-lts-dkms
zfs-utils-lts-dkms
spl-lts-dkms
spl-utils-lts-dkms

Since these are not currently in AUR, I will upload them myself once I
get the PKGBUILDS working.

It's been a while that I maintain both tengine and tengine-dev, but

So please merge tengine-dev to tengine, I'm planning to submit a new

2014-05-02 Thread Jesus Alvarez
Packages include:

zfs = zfs-git
zfs-utils = zfs-utils-git
spl = spl-git
spl-utils = spl-utils-git

Reason: The original zfs packages could not keep up with the default linux
kernel in Arch. ZFSonLinux is slow to make official releases and kernel API
changes made basing the ZFS packages on the official release impossible
without many patches from git.

Users that want to continue to use official ZFS releases are encouraged to
use the zfs-lts packages in AUR.
