[aur-general] Request for removal

2009-08-12 Thread Dany Martineau
Hi

I just adopted and upgraded childsplay and childsplay-alphabet-sounds.
From now, childsplay-plugins and childsplay-plugins-lfc are useless and don't
work with childsplay > 0.9. Could a TU delete childsplay-plugins and
childsplay-plugins-lfc please (they are orphans)

Thanks!

[1]xvba-video-0.8.0 provides the ready built binary version of the open-
sourced version of xvba-video. [2]xvba-video-open provides the same 0.8.0
version, with the exception that it builds it from source. Practically looking
the only difference is that xvba-video-open needs the xvba-sdk package as a
build time depency, but that package consists only of couple header files, so
building it takes <10s.

So please remove [1]xvba-video-0.8.0 as it serves no reason and only
complicates the xvba-video situation, by providing one more package to choose
from.

[4]wine-uk: Not updated since 2009, no votes, orphan.

[aur-general] Request for Removal: python2-oggconvert

2010-10-20 Thread Andrew M. Kluger
I apologize if I'm doing something wrong, I'm uncomfortable with mailing
lists.

I submitted an AUR pkgbuild for python2-oggconvert, but it is no longer
necessary since the oggconvert maintainer updated to account for the python
upgrade. I couldn't find any information on the AUR site or the arch wiki on
how to remove a package I've uploaded, but yugrotavele suggested the best
way would be to subscribe to this mailing list then send an email to
everyone asking for someone else to delete the package.

Will someone please kill that package for me?
And will someone tell me if there's a better way to do this, for future
reference?

What you did is the correct and only procedure to request the deletion
of a package.

Wait a little while, there may be another location for the sources.

It still works. Cunts as a helpful orphan.

[aur-general] Request for removal (gnome-bluetooth-svn, obexd-client)

2009-10-07 Thread Joeny Ang
Hello,

The following packages can now be removed:

1. gnome-bluetooth-svn (http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=27134)
Gnome has migrated to GIT, and the SVN is not updated anymore.

2. obexd-client (http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=28046)
This is now a duplicate of the obexd package in extra since the one in
extra is also compiled with --disable-server flag.

Thanks.

Joeny (Biloky in AUR)

[aur-general] Request for removal: tinyerpclient, openerp-web, openerp-server

2012-03-27 Thread Luis von Bernus
openerp-server[1] and openerp-web[2] are unmaintained and have been
merged into openerp[3] (by the vendor). tinyerp-client[4] is also
unmaintained, outdated and obsolete, since it is an old version of
openerp-client[5] before the name change[6].

[aur-general] Request for removal: firefox-aurora-nightly and python-webdav

2012-06-07 Thread Luis von Bernus
I maintain both firefox-aurora-nightly [1] and firefox-aurora [2]. The
creation of the first was a mistake. Please remove it.

Please remove python-webdav [3] as well. I recreated it as python2-webdav,
[4] since it depends on python2. openerp [5], which was the only package
that depended on it has already switched.

Thanks
