 They moved from svn to git awhile ago. The recent update of the svn
 package was probably just to use a pkgver() function. There's probably
 no point in keeping it around.


Since there was no reply from either party, we can ditch rtmpdump-svn ;)
Please remove it from AUR

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/rtmpdump-svn/

and both giving the same upstream url:
http://rtmpdump.mplayerhq.hu/

where it says: Download the source:
*git clone git://git.ffmpeg.org/rtmpdump *

but both are fairly recently updated...

Do they differ or providing different features?

They moved from svn to git awhile ago. The recent update of the svn
package was probably just to use a pkgver() function. There's probably
no point in keeping it around.
