Thanks for your work on this subject. There's already a thread on the forums and a couple threads on the ML + a wiki discussion and Arch is not my personal project so I don't want to force anyone into accepting my point of view.

Hi, I don't think the forum etiquette rules applies to AUR packages. If I understand you correctly, the point is that it would be natural to create rules for AUR that are within the same spirit as the forum etiquette rules? I can agree with this, but the forum etiquette rules are, IMO, unclear on both the topic of abandonware and also on which laws for which countries are "applicable". Crafting a similar etiquette rule for AUR would surely spark several lengthy discussions and should probably involve more than just one TU. Hi, While I don't really think a PKGBUILD can count as warez (and believe the subject is misleading), I agree with "the ioni-solution" of not linking directly to copyrighted content in the "source" array.
