[Aus-soaring] Re: used parachutes
I have a customer who has two black and silver N360 backpacks with QE hardware for sale as he finds a seat pack would be preferable. Anyone seriously interested contact me and I'll put you in touch. The chutes are only just over 6 months old and only actually worn a few times. Re: [Aus-soaring] a 1000K that went Horribly wrong!
Great yarn. Retrieve stories have filled in many an hour at the bar and I still hear them. Great for a laugh. [Aus-soaring] 18m. record database
Hi all, The March meeting of the Sports Committee will consider as to whether Australian records should be kept for 18M class gliders. The decision will be influenced by support from glider pilots for such an addition. We have about 12 18M gliders which have been imported over the last few years and more are on the way. Additionally, there are some slightly earlier models well able to set records, as flying on the right day is of far greater importance than having the latest and best glider (an Astir set the current out and return standard class record over 20 years ago). By comparison there has only been one new 15M glider, no new single seater open class and only a couple of 2 seater open class gliders imported in recent years. 18Mis very mucha class of the future. It is uncomfortable to ask favours which could be of use to one personally, but I am asking pilots especially those flying 18M, to e-mail Rob Moore, Chairman of the Sports Committee, to support the establishment of 18M class Australian records. Robs e-mail address is [EMAIL PROTECTED] If you could e-mail me a copy of your support to, [EMAIL PROTECTED],that would be a help, Good gliding, Harry Medlicott ___ Aus-soaring mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.internode.on.net/mailman/listinfo/aus-soaring
