Go to any supplier of Aviation grade wire and ask for some 2.3mm wire.

You will get a instant question fired at you, " What gauge is that mate"

In aviation AWG is the standard measurement .

Because now days wire is specified by cross section area I have put in a

However when you buy aircraft wire from your local avionics shop or 
from Aircraft Spruce it is specified in gauge.
Do use aircraft wire. It isn't expensive and  is easy to get. Also 
use the correct type of crimp tool. There are two main types - the 
good one with the over centre action that does the proper crimp each 
time and the $5 version from SuperCrap Auto. Find somebody who can 
solder if you need anything soldered. The test is this - what type of 
temperature controlled iron do you have? If they don't know or ask 
what temperature control is they don't know how to solder.

I have an imi one I bought for the nimbus 4dm.  Haven't used it yet.  Not 
expecting it to be a one man rig but just to lessen the number o helpers I 
need.
