Re: [Aus-soaring] Gliding segment on channel 7's Airways show

2012-11-05 Thread Mrsoaring
Never usually watch 7 but it was EXCELLENT FOR GLIDING but seemed a bit out of
place to the other segments on the show of Visa issues, illegal imports & many
Tiger Airlines check in issues. I hope Virgin sort out the many Tiger issues
now they control the Airline.

For those interested, Channel Sevens “Air ways” show which went to air
yesterday (Sunday 4th November) featured a segment with gliding at Bacchus
Marsh.

The filming took place over a year ago with some of the external footage of the
DG505 taken with my GoPro cameras already on Youtube available at the following
link

The actual show can be viewed for the next couple of weeks  on Channel Sevens
website

Thanks Stu... do you wear your normal script glasses underneath the Soarers?
Can’t be much room as they are wrap arounds.

Mile High by Rapid Eyewear - script lens behind a choice of tinted lenses that
can also flip up out of the way if required - kit comes with 4 changeable
tinted lenses.

Available from GoSoaring ;)

So what sunglasses are people using these days for gliding. I need bifocals
and I have a current script. Have used various blue blockers over recent years
and found them to be very good. I like the dark brown (tan?) rather than the
red/orange.

Tom,
there are special script lens holders that mount behind the tinted wrap
around lenses,
I possibly had them on at some stage when I saw you last week; I will send you
a photo off line.
