Re: [AusNOG] Vocus dropping traffic to Microsoft?

2020-06-01 Thread Shane Clay
Seems to be resolved now. Came and went several times over a couple of hours
while using Vocus before MS reported an issue and has been OK since then.

For us, it was only when we tried to reach it over the Vocus path.
TPG/AAPT, Telstra and Superloop were OK.

Re: [AusNOG] Vocus dropping traffic to Microsoft?

2020-05-31 Thread Sean Agius
Just had reports of Outlook desktop clients providing "Admin Notifications",
stating issues with Sharepoint Online and OneDrive for Business .. Most likely
related to what you're experiencing and would indicate an issue greater than
Vocus.

Sean Agius

Seems like they inserted a bad CNAME into the record for most tenants briefly.
Looks like it's fixed now but the DNS caches are still catching up.

Is anyone else seeing Vocus drop traffic to some Microsoft services starting
about 40 mins ago? Specifically, Sharepoint Online.

Example IP: 13.107.136.9
