[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Re: Cancel Purchase Order

2005-08-30 Thread Philip R. Freimann
Thank-you subbu and Sun Fen Chen. I didn't know that function
existed. This is the type of information exchange that makes the
Axapta-Knowledge-Village so valuable.

Sun Fen is right. We are doing the same as he advised / described

The moment you cancel the quantiy, the satus is setting
to 'cancelled'.
 Thank you.

 kind regards,

If you change to order type = Journal, it will not affect your on

However it is not purposely used to cancel an open order. It is
used as a
 draft only.
As you know, purchase order type will affect Ordered field.
However, usually
for open order we cancel it using Function - Deliver reminder -
Cancel
quantity and the purchase order will have the status of Cancelled

[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Creating a Consolidated Invoice

2005-08-30 Thread Brandon George

Hello
All,

I am working on Creating a Consolidated Invoice Option, were a user
can select a Customer, then select a Date Range, and for the given Date Range,
for all Sales Orders, for that Customer are Invoiced as One Big Invoice.

Has
anyone every done such a thing before? I assume that I will need to create a new
SalesFormLetter Child Class. (Ex: SalesFormLetter_ConInvoice) That will do
something similar to the SalesFormLetter_Invoice class.

Anyway, if anyone can give me any pointers in this I would apperciate
it!

thanks,
Brandon

Hi Brandon,

Have you tried the invoice summary update
function? It might be enough for what you need.

[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Any Idea abou this?

2005-08-30 Thread Subrahmanyam, Mamidi

Hi,

I am wondering if you guys know of this. Why is the field 'AccountNum' is right aligned and why not 'Left aligned'?.

Does what factor judge alignment property?. Because this has significant effect in 'select' statements if I use AccountNum as Index.

Any help is highly appreciated,

Thanks Regards,
subbu
