[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Sales tax calculation

2006-12-29 Thread Le Quyet Thang
Hi all,

I have some questions about Sales tax calculation.
I create a PO with 1 line , Qty = 10, Unit price = 5$ -- Net Amount = 50$
Setup Sales tax group and Item sales tax group for PO Line -- the
intersection Sales tax code is EU25% and EU18%
EU25% has  Origin: Percentage of Gross amount;
 MaginalBase: Net amount perline;
 Method of calculation: Whole amount
  Sales tax on sales tax : EU15%
   Value setup:   Minimum limit = 0, Upper limit = 55 -- Value = 25
   Minimum limit = 56, Upper limit = Blank --
Value = 28
EU18% has  Origin: Percentage of Net amount;

 MaginalBase: Net amount perline;

 Method of calculation: Whole amount

  Sales tax on sales tax : Blank
Value setup: Minimum limit = 0, Upper limit = Blank -- Value
= 18
When I check PO/Setup/Sales tax, Axapta generates 2 lines of sales tax
 Line 1: EU25% : Amount origin: 59, Percent =  33.6, Sales tax amount =
16.52
 Line 2: EU18% : Amount origin: 50, Percent =  18, Sales tax amount = 9

The figure in line 2 is OK, but in Line 1, I cannot find the logic of
calculation of how Axapta calculate Percent and Sales tax amount. I have tried
many cases but cannot found the logic. I am highly appriciated if anyone
explains to me.

Thanks a lot,
Thang

  Usr layer will still remain same..if so you should delete the usr and

RE: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Number sequence-Error

2006-12-29 Thread Bonk, David
It sounds like you are entering a customer number yourself which is
conflicting with how you have the number sequence set-up for the
customer numbering. You either have a mask that is different from what
you are entering or you have it set to continuous which means that the
system needs to allocate the next number. If you had the wizard create
the number sequences then the one for customers would be Acco_16; review
the set-up.

RE: »Ø¸´£º [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Settlement reversal

2006-12-29 Thread Bonk, David
Whenever I select a closed transaction, Axapta selects the associated voucher
so that it is never unbalanced when the Reverse button is clicked. If you see
that Axapta does this but still gives you the message below then it is a bug.

However when you start deleting transactions in tables; you are asking for
problems and this should never be considered a solution. Many tables are
updated with a single transaction so when you start deleting from only one
table you are affecting the integrity of the data base.

 Hi,

 We quite often have to reverse payments and general journal
vouchers that have been settled against a customer (Sales Ledger
Customers Functions Closed Transaction editing). This
occasionaly give us problems amongst which
 1) Voucher ' ' could not be found errors,
 2) The marked transactions do not balance errors
 are the most frequently encountered.

 Usually I have to go into table.SpecTrans and delete the affected
records and then redo the reversal. This usually solves the problem.

 Ocasionally however (like now) I find that regardless of the tick
box status in Closed Transaction editing there exist no records is
table.SpecTrans. The records do however exist in
table.CustSettlement but never go through to SpecTrans regardless of
the fact that I tick the records on the Closed Transaction editing
form. The result is that I cannot reverse any of the settlements.
It keeps saying Voucher ' ' does not exist.

 Does anyone have any idea how to solve this?

Re: »Ø¸´£º [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Se ttlement reversal

2006-12-29 Thread hema krish
Hi Hennie

Check if the specific voucher u are trying to reverse is marked again (the
red hand) in any GL or Payment Journal lines for settlement and left
unposted.(applicable in case there was partial settlement done before on the
same voucherand the remaining is settled again). The error will not occur if
such multiple settlements are posted.
Hope this helps.

I agree with David that deleting records from a table is no solution.
