It's been a week now that we are getting this error message in the AOS 
Event Log and I really don't know what is the cause or how i can 
resolve it.


Axapta COM Connector Session 65534.

Failed to create file axapden-us.ahi. Error code was 5


The Session Id always seems to relate to a web user.  Anybody can throw 
some light on this for me?  Any clue will be appreciated.

Hi Steeve,
error code 5 is the good old access denied from MS DOS.
As the *.ahi files are the help index, someone (or something) seems to try to 
rebuild the index for the en-us help file but is not allowed to. Just log on in 
en-us to your AX client and rebuild the help index for yourself, then 
everything should be ok.

Hi,

Please help me out.

Problem is:

When I run Inventory Closing I get error message.
My Costing method for item is Weighted Avg. date.

Following is the error:

Error message:
Close inventory
Item number: RD00050GVS
Transaction: Production line 135819, lot ID 2754314
Unit cost price 500.00 can be wrong as the transaction cannot be 
fully settled


My question is:
Why is this error message? What does it mean?
What impact it will have on inventory closing?
Is there any way to fix this problem?

[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Socket programming in AX

Hi Friends,
   
  
  Have any one implemented Socket programming in Ax 3.0 -SP3... I have used 
Ws2_32.dll methods in AX  to create and connect to a port on  3rd party Server 
placed in the same domain. 
   
  But the connect method is always returning the value -1. Friends please 
suggest me wht are all the parameters we need to pass along with the Connect 
method..
