[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Need help! Record already exist ??
Hi all, I need some help or advice... The case is my Ax sometimes produce an error when inserting new data, it says Can not insert, data already exist but I can assure you that the suspected data is new. This is true bcoz after I restart the AOS, all process gone normal, no error. Before I restart AOS, I tried reindex data, synchronize table, and compile application, and it shows no error/ warning. Now we are able to process the cubes but not able to transfer the cubes, error

'us-nj-sql1'.
Connection to the server is lost.

Can you please try the following:
Ensure that the user is a member of the OLAP administrator' s group,
that the analysis server client part has been installed on the client and
the server
piece on the OLAP server, that the analysis server client and server pieces
are the
same version, including service packs, and that permission has been given to

OLAP bin directory.
Lemme know if it works else will have to try out some more troubleshooting

hi, right now, we already face 2 process produce error: 1. when posting picking list in Inventory Transfer Order 2. when posting packing slip in SO strange is if i restart the AOS, there's no error. Last time, I reset usage data but no effect. Hello, Does *Axapta* contain a series of export or shipping documents? We currently use a package independent of the ERP to create Certificates of Origin, Proforma Invoices, Shippers Export Declarations, and Packing Lists (which contains a conversion and weight utility). If/When we implement *Axapta*, it would be helpful to use *Axapta* to create export documents and not an additional PC based Solution . Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. There are a few documents such as Bill of Lading etc but by the sounds of what you want std Ax wont cover your requirements. What we did for one customer with similair requirements was to add a few fields to CustInvJour and make a new report for Cert of Origin (looks pretty much like invoice but with values removed and coutnry of origin added). For packing we used the PickingList journal lines and made a report out of these. The nice part about this solution was it was made as part of an 'Export shipments' module whereby several sales orders could be combined into a simple shipment and a single packing document generated. Also it is all really just built using std Axapta so there its footprint is pretty small. I am afraid the modication belongs to my company but if you have similar requirements (esp if it invovles combining several sale sorders into a shipment) and are interested then let me know and I can probably send some print screens of what it does. [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Installation of 2 versions of Axapta
Hi all, I am having a query regarding Installation of 2 versions of Axapta. I have installed AX 4.0 on my machine, and now I want to Install AX 3.0 in same machine. - Is it possible to install a previous version if next version is already installed? - Can I run both the clients simultaneously?
