Hi Kamaraju,

It is possible to view unposted transactions in FRx. When you open Report
designer and choose report to open, on catalog dialog box, there is a field
called Provisional. You can choose Posted + unposted activity option. Hope
it helps...

[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Re: BOM Process Based Manufacturing

2007-11-28 Thread nigel_cox2003
Also, take a look at Configurable BOMS. These are activated by
the Configurable flag on the Item Master. This has nothing to do
with Product Builder. It would mean reflecting your Color within the
Config instead of the Color, but understand that there is no way to
tie a BOM to a parent's size or color.

You CAN tie it to a Config by have one master/superBOM for the item
and then dynamically tying BOMlines toConfig via Configuration
Groups. You MIGHT end up with just one Configuration Group (say,
Shade).

Your Cadillac solution might be to use Product Builder, where you
could ask for Shade and mathematically derive a BOM, each time that
paint is ordered.

 Hi,

We are working on a proeject whose manufacturing is Process based
(Paint Industry). The customer has single Item Number for one
product
for example: Royal Acrylic and he has more than 2000 shades for it,
every shade having a differnt BOM. Can anyone one suggest
what is the best way to go about this situation for creating a BOM
and
 Item Numer.

For example, can I use configuration 'color' and for each color
create
a BOM? are there any other ways of doing it.

Hi,

i need to set up the business connector (com) for a website (AX4). The
thing is that the webserver needs to be secure so should not have access
to the active directory.

Is this possible? Or is it necessary to the business connector to have
access to the ad?

If possible send me a port configuration example.

Thanks

Re: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] About lookup

2007-11-28 Thread Barunava Pal
Hi Neeraj,
You can use the EDT relationship. There are two kind of relations possible in
EDT, normal and related field fixed. If you want just a simple lookup like drop
down of all customer accounts, simply create a normal relationship with
custtable (with field Customer Account). You can also create a complex lookup
using EDT relation. Suppose you want to show customers which are One time
customers in a lookup. You have to first create a normal relation with
custtable and then create a related field fixed relation where select the one
time customer field and in the place of value, give '1' which means TRUE. You
can use this relation and specify the value only for the enum type fields.
Thats all, if you want more complex lookups, EDTs can't help you more.

Hello all, please help me i'm newbie in axapta
I had transaction like above. There always came's up unreasonable
value
from the quarantine order transaction, eventhough after we had
inventory
closing. Is there any possibility of circular process in inventory
calculation there? Cause from what i saw the financial date for
production is 29/06/2007 but the quarantine is 26/06/2007
In our company the products when its already Report as Finish then
they
were tested in quarantine warehouse and after that the production
administration is collecting and check all the consumption material
for
the product then they costing the job order in next day or two days
 after.
Any suggestion, what should we do?
