[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] How to change the currency format to Indian currency
Hai friends, This is sreekanth iam facing the problem with currency, in the purchase order form in the Net Amount field when we have the amount as 23,45,678=00 in Axapta it is displaying in Millons format,i.e 2,345,678=00 how to change the format in to indian currency i.e in to lacks,Thousands and Hunderds.if any knows reply. with regards , sreekanth.

Hi all, I have a problem, i currently have a string which i read from a file that contains both alpha and numeric values. eg GA12312.12 FR3123 ER1211 How do i just get the alpha characters ie GA or FR out of the string? And how do i then compare to a Enum type i have created? how do i loop through enum values in code? Thanking you in advance Ricardo

I was wondering, if anyone could explain this ... :-/ I need to setup Ax in a way that pricing information is not displayed in the InventSum form. While setting this up I noticed, that the Cost Price field is filled out through a datasource display method, averageCostPrice, which is run on the client. However, this datasource display method just returns the InventSum table method costPricePcs. My question: Why not call the table method from the form instead of the datasource method ? Actually, AX4.0/SP1, the display menu item for this is SalesFormLetterSortingParameters and the form name is SalesFormLetterSortingParameters and actually it has security key custsetup... [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] How can Axapta provide report (trial balance) in second home currency
Hi all Need your expertise to advice on how can i make use of Axapta to provide another set of report in USD (second home currency) when current home currency is maitain with SGD. Client is base in S'pore has agree to use SGD as home currency in Axapta. However, due to Accounting policy requirement, client have to prepare another set of financial reports in USD (client's business transact mostly in USD) to submit to auditor. Base on requirement gather from client, they required to Profit Loss Accounts 1. Exchange rate is base on monthly exchange rate (or average rate for the year). Preference will be on monthly exchange rate to achieve greater accuracy. 2. Remove realized unrealized exchange gain/loss for computation. 3. Fixed Asset depreciation disposal at historical rates. Balance Sheet Accounts 1. Exchange rate for monetary accounts (AR, AP, Cash borrowing or lending) is base on year end rate. 2. Exchange rate for non-monetary accounts (fixed asset, inventory, capital reverse) is base on historical rate. 3. Inventory fixed asset will be kept at historical cost when possible. 4. Prior retain earnings share capital kept at historical cost. Does anyone have any idea how can I produce report in USD from above requirement? If you have already impletemented similar requirement for your client, do let me know. Pls advaice. Thank you.

Hi everyone, Visual Morphexplorer is the tool for modelling tables and classes in Axapta. But there is limitations. It cannot show tables in method. Tables must declared in classDeclaration to show in Visual MorphEx. Is there any other way, to enhance Visual Morphx so we can get all tables in the class ? It is difficult if we have to move one by one table declaration in each method into classDeclaration. - setiaji -

Hi,
The pic in the Company logo is stored in the database in the table called
CompanyImage.
It reads the supplied file converts it into binary data and then stores it
in the above said table.
It is possible to display am image from a path in the system, but problem we
normally face is that the image may not be available to all the users in the
network if the supplied path is not accessible for all the users.
