RE: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Row Level Security

2009-10-11 Thread Khalil Rehman

Dear Abdullah,

you can do by this way as i told you by creating two groups, maintaining
record level security and WH1 usergroup you can give edit permissions. i think
there is no other way. by record level you will be able to have view
permissions and other WH1 Group with view & Edit permissions. i hope like this
way you can solve your problem.

regards.

Dear Khalil,

According to my research, the row level security gives the option to show or
not to show the record. It does not allow you to show all and not to edit some
records.

If that is possible, please tell me how.

Dears,

I have the following requirements:

2 User Groups: UserGroup1 & UserGroup2
2 warehouses: warehouse1 & warehouse2

In the sales order form:
- I want both user groups to view all the sales orders lines, but,
- I want to allow UserGroup1 to edit only the sales order lines that belongs to
Warehouse1
- I want to allow UserGroup2 to edit only the sales order lines belongs to
warehouse2

So, is that possible in Ax 2009?
