[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Problem with Weighted Avg Cost

2010-06-05 Thread Mark
We mistakenly Reported As Finished a production order for qty of 3 instead of
1. We then RAF -2 to correct inventory, but now cost is 1/3 what it should be.
How do we correct the cost? Does the 2/3 of WIP cost stay in WIP? Please advise.

[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Re: Print document in DOT Matrix format

2010-06-05 Thread Mark
Any luck on this? Sorry for late reply. I had limited success in AX 3. Defined
all printer command languange (pcl) commands in methods, then concatenated
strings to fit lines as needed. Had problems passing space characters some
others in pcl methods- so had to chr function. Had problem sending more then
1Kb, so limited amount of text in programmable sectoin. Could only make
barcodes work in Prolog of report.
All other text could be positioned using normal report attributes. Report had
to include passthrough function. Printing had to be to windows generic text
printer.

Once setup though, the print speed was fast because documents were native PCL
to printer. I may still have an example. ask meprouty @ veverizon.net

[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Question Regarding Report builder and AXAPTA

2007-04-04 Thread Vimala Venugopalan-Mark
1. After we create a report in SQL SERVER Management studio, we
will need to give access to some of the users to run these reports from
the front end. Can we register the reports in AX so the users can run
them from applications? How can we register reports created outside of
AX.

2. If we can register the reports in AX, can we control who gets
to run a particular report?

3. Is there a way to automatically schedule reports in AX.

4. within ax can we ftp a report to another source?
