[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Scanning Barcode in SalesLine
Hi All, I am trying to scan barcode for inserting Items in SalesLine. I am using EAN13 Barcode Type and I have attached the barcode Number to one of the Item in Items Setup Barcode Setup. Also I have selected the scanning option. Now at the time of creating Sales Line, I want functionality as If I put the cursor on ItemId and scan the Barcode then it should take the related Item of that barcode. I have tried the same but not able to solve.But, If Search Name of the Item is same as Barcode number then the funtionality is working fine, but it will create problem in case of multiple Inventory Dimension Combinations. Can anyone please tell me the solution of above problem on urgent basis since my work is stuck on this point. Thanks in advance. Regards, Ashish Patil.
[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Report Shapes are not displayed in HTML Format
Dear All, I am having a strange query regarding Axapta Reports. I have used some of the shapes like Box, Lines in AX Reports, but when I am trying to Export the report in HTML File the shapes are not displayed there. Data is coming perfectly fine. [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Deadlock in Axapta
Hi all, I am getting an error of Deadlock in posting of Sales Order. When multiple users are trying to post invoice in Axapta 4.0 it is throwing following error Cannot delete a record in Sales Line Charges (INDSalesLineCharges). Charge Name:,0.00. Deadlock, where one or more users have simultaneously locked the whole table or part of it. All users are posting different sales orders still it is throwing this error. Hi all, I want to transfer AX 3.0 data/report into Pivot Table. As per my knowledge, we can do this using OLAP server. But I am not having license of Business Analysis. Hi all, I am having a query regarding Installation of 2 versions of Axapta. I have installed AX 4.0 on my machine, and now I want to Install AX 3.0 in same machine. - Is it possible to install a previous version if next version is already installed? - Can I run both the clients simultaneously? Dear Friends, When I am posting in any PO/SO in each posting states such as quotation/confirmation/packing slip/invoice etc when i want to print report every time it shows one warning Numbers of Originals and Copies are not specified in the print management form and its not generate report at this level and posting is cancelled . It is already been setup in Form Setup option. Please tell me where I will solve this problem . its urgent requirment to rectify this problem .
[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Sorting Sales Invoice report Item Dimension wise
Hi all, I am having a requirement of sorting the sales invoice report on basis of Inventory Dimension Size. Is it possible to do that? I checked the report, datasource CustInvoiceJour is sorted by SalesInvoiceDate Index while CustInvoiceTrans is sorted by InvoiceId Index. Since Size is coming from InventDim table i found it difficult to sort on basis of size. Please help me solving this query as early as possible. Regards, Ashish.
[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] CST Number and LST Number in Vendor Form
Hi all, I am having a query regarding Vendors Form in India Localization (Accounts Payable Vendors). When I m opening Vendors Form, in India Localization, the fields CST Number and LST Number are not editable while in Customers Form both the fields are editable. Can anyone please tell me what may be the reason behind this and what should be done to make it editable? Also I have checked technically in both tables, datasources, forms, methods etc. Both are same. Please help me as early as possible. Regards, Ashish.
[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Problem during upgradation from AX 3.0 to AX 4.0
Hi all, I m having problem in data upgrade of Axapta 3.0 to axapta 4.0. I have installed Axapta 3.0 with india localization on my machine and now I upgraded the data using proper Data Upgrade process. But now when I m trying 2 start the AOS it is giving me problem of Error code 100(0*64). What can b the possible cause of problem and what can i do 2 solve it? Also can u please tell me,is there any demo data for India Localization like the data for Standard? Regards, Ashish.

Hello all, I have installed AX 4.0 on my machine with additional region as India. But after full installation,I am not able to start the AOS from Administrative Tools- Service. Hi all, I m having a serious problem. I m creating a report based on production order. For this I want to calculate some quantity from code also. Now problem is, when I set the auto declaration property of ProdOrder field in report body to yes, all values of ProdOrder field are 1 only and not taking the actual values. [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Add document handling logic in code
Hello All, I want to ask can i add the logic of document handling in my code? For eg. I have created new field in purchase order and want to add the document handling logic there ie. if for 1 purchase order there are 2 documents attached that we can see by clicking the document handling button. Can I see those documents in my new field as lookup? Is it possible in axapta? I think I have to link the 2 tables of Purchase Order and Document. How can I do that? [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Error during creation of new object server
Hello all, I m having Windows 2000 server in the server machine. After installing AOS in the server machine, it is not allowing to change the start up of object server and also not allowing to create new object server. It is giving an error as -You could not create new object server. Default server Axapta is running properly. I tried installation with SP5 KR2 also but still it is throwing same error.
